​The religious ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration continued to be held by various parties. The delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs took part in the ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman, 28th August night.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony included the reading of Al-Qur'an verses, tazkirah and dikir presentation. The delegation was also joined by the Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir, Kampung Bengkurong Mosque Youth Group and the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College.

The Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah of Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD and the Ministry of Health held a Dikir Maulud at the mosque. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The Dikir among others aim to instil love towards Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The Ministry of Home Affairs also held a similar ceremony at the RPN Kampung Pandan Mosque, Kuala Belait. The delegation was led by Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretary for Safety and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.
